There are two steps to replacing wipers on the FJ
Cruiser.
First step how to remove Wipers.
Depress the release clip to release the
wiper arm.
Then
slide the wiper arm off the clip.

Replacing the wipers is reverse of
removing the wipers.
Second step how to
reinstall wipers.
Slide
the wiper blade arm inside the wiper blade and back onto the clip.
You
should hear a click when it locks into place. You may need to pull firmly.
